Fellowship and Study Groups

Each of us needs to be encouraged in our growth in faith. In our development of positive relationships and in our involvement of life in a positive way. Affirmation of people's strengths and giftedness is important to their growth.

Seek to affirm one another in the faith that each of us will continue to develop as committed Christians, and in following our Lord Jesus Christ.

Opportunities

Children's Ministries
We believe that children are an important part of the family of God. Our purpose is to help them build foundations for a life long relationship with Jesus. Besides Children's Church and Sunday School, ministries for children include Vacation Bible School, TNT and other special activities, contact the Church Office or Pastor Jenn (ext.23).

Youth Ministries
Youth are living in a fast-paced and changing world. We want to provide an opportunity for youth to come and be themselves, to give them a place where they can ask questions, to learn who they are in Christ, to find out who God is and how to follow Him.

There are activities for youth (grades 7-12) which are usually held on Friday nights. Youth events are usually held at the Youth Centre, which is right behind the church, and are usually at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Other programs that we offer our youth are Quizzing, choir (YIM), and drama.

Adult Ministries
We feel the need to provide opportunities for all members in the body of Christ. We have a number of functions and programs throughout the year that meet the needs of our adults. Some of these ministries include Men's Suppers, Achievers (seniors) and "Home Groups". If you are interested in these or in serving in a caring ministry please contact the Church Office.

The Achievers are a group of our senior and retired members that meet for fellowship, activities, and luncheons. Bible studies are held every second Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Please contact the Church for details and further information.

TNT!! Tuesday Night Together

TNT was formed to provide an opportunity for the family to be together. There's just so much going on Tuesday nights, you won't want to miss it! A variety of ACTIVITIES are planned with a cycle of options for children, youth and adults. Options include gym time, crafts, speaker/teaching and service projects with all age groups having a chance to do all 4 activities. A tantalizing SUPPER is prepared by our own talented chefs and served at 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00 per person, or $14.00 per family.

Bible Study Groups

The Achievers Bible Study meets bi-weekly Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

The "Voice" Group is a Women's literature group which meets bi-weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m.

Various Home Study groups meet at various times during the month. Please contact the Church for details and further information.

A Prayer Breakfast is held every Wednesday Morning at 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the Lower Hall of the Church. Join a small group of fellowship and food as we pray for our church community, people and programs.

S.T.O.P - Meet one half hour before the Sunday morning service in the Conference Room for a Special Time Of Prayer.

Service Opportunities

The Prayer Chain is a group of volunteers who pray for the activities, staff and members of the Church, and any concerns and requests that are brought forth. As well, the Church staff prays each week on a rotating basis for Church members listed in our directory.
