Music Ministries Go to Music IndexThroughout each year the FBC choirs praise God with several concerts of hymns, seasonal, contemporary and gospel favourites. Listen to a sampling of this music, which features the FBC Sanctuary Choir, the JuBELLation Bell Choir, the Exaltation Chorale, and a featured duet with Pianist Bev Dyck and Organist Mark Anderson. all who love music in either a performing or listening capacity. Understanding that music speaks to each of God's people in a distinctly personal manner, a variety of styles are presented. The intent is that musical offerings, ranging from traditional/classical to contemporary, will serve as a medium of expression and creativity for the congregation and community.
First Baptist Church handbell choirs perform monthly and are featured more frequently during the festive seasons of the church year. JuBELLation has an experienced and dedicated core ensemble, but it is always ready to include new ringers - High School to Adults. Optional performances at handbell festivals and concerts afford members added growth.
This unique mixed ensemble features a rich mosaic of repertoire styles and tastes. Exaltation presents a music ministry at seasonal and special services during the year.
